As grandchildren of Nisei Japanese Americans, participating in this community event is deeply special to us. Our Bachans ended up both in LA and Hawaii after being interned during WWII. We feel that our presence here, serving you our delicious shave ice, helps to honor our entire family. Thank you for sharing in our legacy. Enjoy and spread some Aloha!
